I have been searching for an '06 MCS and have asked a few questions here. Thanks for the help. I targeted the '05-'06 because I have feared 1st year production models in the past. I now have a lead on a 2007 and I wanted to know if there are, in fact, any bugs, issues, etc. with the 2007? Thanks again!

 

There are some issues with R56 models.
1. High pressure fuel pump problems.
2. Timing chain issues (cold start rattle).

I have the R56 model, 2007 MCS but have not experienced these issues. Some owners have and others have not. Good luck with what you decide to purchase.

 

my 07 S bought new has been flawless. Has seen the dealer for required service and that's it.

 

Some people have had the cold start chatter and the fuel pump problems, but they are few in number and fixable if they occur, wouldn't really let them get in the way of puchase of an '07.
