Where can one find information
On the different "R" numbers? I don't know squat about Mini's, so I tried to find it at the MiniUSA website and find nothing. What do R53, R56, R whatever mean? Thanks. 
The "R" is simply carry over from the previous owner of MINI called Rover. The numbers refer to the different models available:
- R50 (1st gen MC)
- R52 (1st gen MC/MCS Conv.)
- R53 (1st gen MCS)
- R55 (Clubman)
- R56 (2nd gen MC/MCS Coupe)
- R57 (2nd gen MC/MCS Conv.)
