Finance offers through MINI
$27,725 financed at 1.9% for 60 months. Monthly payment = $484.75. Total payments = $29,085.
$26,475 financied at 3.9% for 60 months. Monthly payment = $486.39. Total payments = $29,183.40.
Looks like a free $1250 option to me.

BTW, I was being facetious saying it was free. It is a push unless you pay off the 3.9% loan. But I sure don't see how you're paying for it twice.
And note that if the MSRP was lower and/or one chose the $1750 premium package on a hardtop, the 3.9% option did reduce the total cost below the 1.9% option.

I got the premium package as my option credit which is worth $1750. I compared the cost of doing it both ways. Going with the option credit+3.9% would save me about $400 over the life of the loan. Since I plan on keeping it the whole time it worked out better for me. I actually ended up getting 2.9% instead of the 3.9% also.
