Hey y'all Just finished the deal on a 2005 MCS which I pick up friday. I'm a big Corvette guy but my current car has gotten a bit unruly for daily driver use. The yukon I drive daily gets 8mpg, so it was time for some gas mileage while having a little fun. The MCS is perfect: plenty of gas milage and it'll see double duty on the road course since the corvette is an automatic.

Anyway, it's BRG and doesn't appear to have too many options, but I got it for a great price with only 40,xxx miles. Plan to do some window tint, pulley/intake/exhaust and a set of track wheels and tires.

Used to live out by you, spent a semester at UW-Whitewater, lived out in Geneva.

Welcome to the forum, I'm sure the MINI will accomplish every thing you want to do, MOTOR ON!

 

I too am a big Corvette guy (I currently have an '02 coupe) and have been for years but I find myself driving my Mini every chance I get even with the nice weather now. The vette is definately faster in a straight line but I'm already coming around to the Mini being more fun to drive.
Are you planning on taking your Mini out on the track?

Here's my '06.........

 

The mini is going to be the road course toy all summer, can't wait for the first event. My vette is more of a street prowler than anything else with 650+ hp, so this is a perfect fit.

I'm going to take s'more appealing photos tomorrow when i wash up the mini and the vette.

It needs some buffer loving- but that's why I've got the rotary

Love the clear bra on it, and already got rid of the dealer marking on the hatch.. Some 20% tint all around will really help the look I think. That and a shorty antenna and a set of 17 inch feathers. Are the wheels on it an optional set?
