Hello All,

I am looking at a 2007 MINI Cooper S. It has 25k on it. I know it was in a front end accident, but not totaled (verified with carfax). Unfortunately he is the second owner and does not have the details. Owner has receipts from the MINI Dealer for a new transmission, head machined and valves replaced, a new set of pistons, timing chain repair. Car looks and drives great.

It seems pretty well loaded with options, 6spd, hifi, premium, sport and cold weather packages. It also has the bluetooth option. Comes with a set of JCW 18" wheel and some 16" winter wheels.

I had an independent specialist BMW shop check it out and they didn't find anything.

Owner is asking $17k.

What do you guys think?

 

hello i just bought a 2008 mc-s with 27,000 for 17,500 not as many options but i'm 2nd owner he had it for 19 mos. it's green blk top mirrors to match it took me a while to find my cooper the one your looking at to me seems a little high but thats my opinion but if you like it go for it moving-on miniinhd

 

Well mileage is about average for an '07, nicely equipped, but with the accident history might find the 17K a bit strong. Why don't you try 14.5K OR 15K as long as you are satisfied that the car is straight.
