Found out my car has completed production and is in final QA now!!!

The person I spoke to estimated it should leave the factory and head to Southampton by this Friday - he could not say which shipping company it would be on however. He suggested contacting my MA. I'll see what he can find out for me.

We're on our way now!

 

Just talked with my MA, its scheduled for the daily production pack and is about to built

 

Congratulations!!!!!!! Our MINI's will be home before we know it! I tell myself that about 100 times a day........

Your MINI sounds awesome! Mine is a chili red convertible with H/K audio, cold package, comfort blue tooth and usb ipod. I can't wait! I found out my MINI is sitting in the Southampton port waiting for a ship. I checked the schedule and the next ship out is on 4/4. I would think it will go on that ship. Then an 8 day cruise, then a drive to my dealer, then to me!!!!!

 

Ask MINI says mine is in production with an estimated completio date of April 8, 2010! The anticipation is a killer!

 

Yours sounds sweet as well. I forgot I also got the iPod/USB, not comfort though. I wonder if mine will make it on the same ship if its built in the next day or so.

I see your loc is WC, PA. Is that West Chester? You getting yours from Otto's?

 

Just checked the WW track & trace site again and entered WMWMF7 as a CargoID. Sorted by date and then located the cars loaded onto the Elektra. There are 190 & I assume they're all MINIs!

The Elektra is going to Halifax, New York, Brunswick and finally Charleston.

Only 5 days until she reaches Halifax The suspense is killing me.

I've got a great MA though. Told him how I was tracking 'my' MINI and that once in Canada I can't track by rail. He told me that he can and that I'm to let him know once it arrives and he'll keep me posted. Nice.

 

Temps are finally getting warm here (70's today, possibly 80's tomorrow - crazy). Makes me wish I had just picked a MINI that was on the lot!

Only a few more weeks to go!!!

 

Just found out my MINI is booked on the Undine. The cruise will start on 4/4 and reach New York on 4/14. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

 

Just thought I would chime in and say Hi. According to ask MINI, my MINI is in the paint shop with an estimated finish date of April 8th...

I checked the W&W website again for my VIN - no results.
Looks like I may be on the K-Line boat. Oh well. I guess my MA is going to get used to me being annoying from here on out.

 

From a previous post, I think you said your car wouldn't go to Southampton until this Friday? My VIN didn't show up on the WW tracking site until my MINI was there for a couple of days. So don't give up yet! Keep checking for a few days after your MINI gets to southampton. The ASK MINI line (recording or person) should be able to tell you when it gets there. Good luck!

 

I just found at that my MINI went into production today!

 

Ordered: 3/25/2010
Production Started: 3/30/2010
Production Estimated End: 4/8/2010

then it needs to be shipped to Hawaii! not sure how long that takes.

 

Looks like we got a few people here with April 8 birthdays for their MINIs!

 

Might have something to do with Easter break. I read on motoring file that there was a door shortage. Go figure.

 

The MV Elektra arrived in Halifax, NS at 6:04am this morning !!! My baby has arrived in Canada!!!! Now have to wait to see what time it is unloaded.

Today is a good day.
