New to NAM

Hey everyone. I'm a first timer on NAM. I bought a 2007 MCS last year and have loved every second of it. My husband got me the best birthday gift ever, personal driving lessons with Phil Wicks (stunt driver from original Italian Job) including track time. Totally addicted now and can't wait for next opportunity to get on the track.

Do many of you do your own maintenance and work? I like doing as much work on my own car as possible. Any suggestions on manuals or books for maintenance?

Hey there! Welcome to NAM!

A lot of people do their own work! The cars are pretty easy to work with, although because of their small size you sometimes have to remove things to get to other things.

There is no real repair manual/guide for the R56 yet, as far as I know. The Bentley one for the 1st gens is great but doesn't apply to everything for the 2nd gens.

Hello and welcome. I see you love to race and live in the Tar Heel state, well there are a great bunch of mini owners in the Tar Heel state who are members of the TAR Heel Mini Motoring club who take trips to the track.
Here is the link: http://www.tarheelminis.org/content.php
