Hi all this is my fist mini.... I fell in love with the Camden and got it today + first mod some sweet bonnet stripes.

I am a fellow Camden owner (Base model - delivered Nov 09). I got the White Silver with white roof, including sliding sun roof. I got the new funky rims and although I first had reservations, love them. I am taking it in to get the bonnet graphics put on. How do you like the graphics? I also have reservations about them as I have never seen a Camden with them. We'll see.

Oh and I like your stripes. The Camden stripes are UGLY. Don't get them. They look cheap.
They look okay on the builder on MINIUSA but I looked before I ordered... They REALLY look like vinyl stickers with some "stripes" horizontally lined and are placed on the outside edges of the bonnet.

I will be going to the dealer tomorrow morning. I will probably have a look at the kit before having them put in on. I am really concerned that they will break up the open look of the front profile. So, have you seen them on a Camden?

We got the Camden stripes and love them. They are really unique to the car. Gives the hood a different look. We also added a little side graphic to the car, there are a couple pics in this threadhttps://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/3000073-post82.html

 

Just take a look at what stripes they're offering... You may like the "camden" stripe... I think it's not so great.

I think some aggressive stripes up the bonnet might look nice but it's all preference of course.

Oh and, I saw the thread on the feed on the left of my screen, I usually don't troll the boards, too much stuff! Hehehe

Yeah, I dunno, they don't look bad on your set up... but on the Horizon blue, not a fan. Well that would be the beauty of MINIs wouldn't it? Personalization = Yay!

yeah. I just saw some pics of a blue Camden with the Camden bonnet stripes: not very flattering, at least from the pics. I think they look much nicer on the Silver White. Still reserved... will see.
