Clubman question

I currently own a 08 Mini. I just purchased an 09 Great Dane puppy. Im thinking of getting a Clubman. Does anyone have experience cramming large dogs into these cars? Thanks!

Welcome to NAM!

Try this link:https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s-welcome.html

There is a search function in the upper right corner of your screen and if you type "dogs clubman" you may find more.

I have several customers hauling their dogs in clubmans, they really like the flat floor in the back.

I have an '09 MINI (non-Clubman) and an '08 Great Dane... although the dog is actually slightly older .

She hasn't ridden in the MINI much, but with the seats folded down (as they typically are), she does fine. She climbs in through the front (so as not to scratch the rear bumper) and lays down. Most of her body is in the "boot" area, as opposed to on the folded seats, but she likes to lay her head on that higher seat section. I bet she could lay down in the back of a Clubby even with the seats up.

BTW, somewhere around here there's a picture of someone's Dane in the back of their Clubby. I thought I had it saved, but no dice.

Good luck!

Now that's a true dog person, thinking of trading a relatively new car to suit the dog I just have two mini schnauzers and they can ride comfortably anywhere, from the front seat to crammed in the boot. In fact, with the way the MINI handles, I think they prefer the relative tight quarters of the boot to anywhere else lest they loose their footing. They really seem to enjoy motoring anywhere though! I think they like it as much as me!
