I currently own a 08 Mini. I just purchased an 09 Great Dane puppy. I am thinking of trading for a Clubman. Does anyone have experience cramming large dogs into these cars? Thanks!

 

i remember a thread a few months ago where the guy did a rear seat delete for his 100 lb shepherd/lab mix (i think?) in his cooper. I cant imagine that a clubman wouldnt be big enough. I have a 50 lb border collie who fits with the back seat folded down with some room to spare. Im sure youll find someone with a similar situation. Congrats on your family's new addition, can we get a picture?? :D

if there isnt someone with a great dane, Im sure it'll at least give you an idea of how much dog you can fit in a clubman! LG has three labs in the back of hers! Good luck!

Its funny that you talked about a rear seat delete! My husband and I discussed doing just that yesterday! ill get a picture of Jethro the Dane in the Mini and post it....

Jethro in the MINI. I have decided to do a seat delete on this car and remove the rear sets. I will have a small platform made to make the back flat. But it will be done in such a way that it can be easy put back into the original condition.

Jethro and I are leaving on a road trip to Colorado tomorrow. I'll try and take pictures and post...
