I've had my 09 R56 MC now for about 4 months and I've had a great time with her so far! Being stationed here in Spain is great for going out on drives and seeing Europe and what better to do it in than a MC! Maybe a MCS but still awesome. I'll be adding more mods to the car soon. So far i have a custom CAI, JCW grill, rear seat delete kit and black belt line tape. So I'm EXTREMELY happy with my purchase, even though it's just a COOPER.

Yeah it's a really awesome thing to have one here and be able to go out and drive. There are a lot of MC/s owners on base. I use the term owner because a lot of them only purchased the car to go back and forth to work, so they are not really drivers to me. There are like 40 people that have them here and only 3 of us actually drive our MC/s like they are meant to be. We are true owner/drivers for out here. and thanks for the "Welcome to the party."

Well I certainly use my MC the way it was designed for, glad to hear you are doing the same. I envy your chance to drive the roads of Spain, only been there once and the visit was way too short. Have fun with your MINI.

First of all,

Thank You and God Bless for keeping our country safe!

Second of all,

Congrats!

Suggestion...The three of you should start a MINI Cooper event over there to get the others involved...because MINI owners do two things well and that is..."DRIVE-N-EAT!"

We've have been trying to start a event over here. Not a lot of the people on base here are true "DRIVERS" they're just "OWNERS" which is a true same.
