The Old and the New
I scanned in a few pictures of my old Minis. Enjoy!
This is me and my first Mini circa 1982. This one I rebuilt the engine before Dad let me drive. He mixed leftover paint together to get this lovely colour, but notice how it sort of matches my dress!
This my second one (orange) and my soon-to-be-husband's.
My third one. I was actually able to get the brakes working on this one. I think I only had to pump them once rather than multiple times to get the pressure up.
My husband's big restoration project on his Mini - before.
And after:
It took me 2 tries to get the flag painted so it looked okay. It was really hard to paint a flat image on the curved surface.
