1st MINI...finally

Howdy all,

After jonesing for a while, the death of my wife's Mazda prompted the purchase of a 2004 MCS, dark silver, with all but the convenience package. The prior owner did a few performance mods. What a fun car to drive--it's far exceeded my expectations in handling and power.

My first car was a '67 Triumph GT6, so I guess I'm sort of revisiting my youth.

Anyway, this is an excellent forum and I've learned tons so far.

I don't think that the 'convenience' package was an option on the 2004.

Just got my new-to-me '06, my first Mini since selling my 1981 version! Kind of embarrassing walking around with the big silly grin, isn't it? I don'tsuppose it will wear off any time soon!

Mine is now about 5 years old and I still have a silly grinn after a drive! I like to tell folks, driveing a MINI puts the same smile on you face that you had after you passed your first driving test!!
