Hi!

A while back I ordered a new MINI Cooper S!! (i'm from Australia) and have just recently received what i'm told is the production number.

What is interesting as that the numbers appear to represent a date, i'm just wondering if it is possible to decode the production week from the numbers.

I.E the format is PCxxxxxx where xxxxxx for mine could be interpreted as a date.

The dealer can't tell me the VIN number or production week or anything yet which makes me suspect it hasn't started production, but the number in the code could hint that it is already on its way and that maybe Australia receives much more limited information than the US and the UK.
(one can hope! )
