Hello from Southern California,

I am in the market for a mini, and I have some really basic questions.

1. I am still on the fence between picking up a used cooper S hardtop or a new cooper hardtop. Is there a big difference in the reliability of the two engines (standard vs. supercharged)?

2. Some of the private party cars I have been looking at are still under the factory warranty. Are Mini warranties transferable?

3. I have also been looking at some cars that are part of the mini next CPO program. The mini website lists prices for the vehicles...does anyone know if these prices are negotiable, or do the dealers stick to them pretty tightly?
