I probably could have found a newer, more practical vehicle at the price point (i.e., boring), but I have to say I have no regrets so far. Yeah, there are some issues like a quirky alarm and a weak feeling third gear but I don't care. The motor is clean, no rattles from the supercharger (crosses fingers) but, again, I don't care. If it breaks I'll fix it.
With the help of this forum I've already sorted out some issues and fixed one. This is by far one of the most informative car forums I've seen. Kudos to all.
As far as driving it goes? Holy Crap! I've taken cars to their limits in the corners but it's gonna take a while in this one. This is by far one of the funnest cars I've ever driven, not that I've had many, but...

For such a small car it is amazing how many different MODS are available for this thing. I am always looking on here for something else to do to it.
I suspect you will be doing the same
Thanks for all the shouts everyone!
I just took it around my favorite onramp the other day. Took it to where the wheels start to howl (somewhere between 50-60 mph
) and felt like I could've given it a little more. Sooo much fun... I gotta get my licks in before the rain starts!

Thanks Zippy. It has been a blast so far. I definitely have my eye on some mods but right now I'm just going through it to fix all the little gremlins that come with a used car. I fixed the obnoxious squeak in the steering column with some white lithium grease. Had the shop do the oil pan gasket while I tackled the valve cover gasket and I'll probably order the M7 tower brace this week. O.K. so the M7 is a little bit of a mod but I can justify it as preventative maintanence, right?
That's what I told myself a out thr Craven STD's....just to improve matainability! Then after 4+ years I said heck, and did the pulley and the CAI!! Best thing I've done by a long shot!
Thanks all. Maybe the previous owner recognizes it if they're still lurking. I appreciate the tint and the blacked out belt line but the wheels... Well I don't hate them but some black S-lites would add some
