Just ordered my Mini on Friday. I have been a Mini fan since 2002, so very happy to have been able to order it finally!

MCS, Midnight black, manual transmission, Xenon headlamps, comfort access, piano black interior, bluetooh/ipod USB adapter, leather sport multifunction, checkered black on black seats.

NAM has been a great resource for my decision! Thanks to everyone for taking the time to post stories (both good and bad), guides, suggestions, etc. It has made the process a lot easier for me!

I'm trying to convincing myself that I haven't actually ordered one to make the process less painful (I'm a wee bit OCD ). The dealer said 4-6 weeks with no guarantees of course.

Congratulations and welcome!! I hope your timeline comes through. Mine took three months and a day from order to delivery. But I was thrilled when I finally picked it up.

Congrats!!! I was in your shoes back in April and was lucky in that my MINI was at the dealer about 5 weeks from date of order. Picked it up in June and I will have to say in 3 months of driving the fun has not decreased a bit. These cars making mundane trips to the barber fun!! The Owner's Lounge is a fun way to track your MINI and has a lot of info on it - you can even scan/read your owner's manual before you even get the car.

Thanks! Production on mine is already done. Its waiting to be shipped in about 10 days! Probably mid-October is what I'm expecting to be ready to pick up.

 

Haha- well they almost only have 4 weeks to meet that deadline. I just was able to login to the owner's lounge for the first time and apparently I'm getting a Hot Chocolate colored Mini Cooper S! I know they aren't 100% accurate for the first week or so, and I was thinking that it'd be cool to have a hot chocolate non-clubman anyways . My status is listed as "on order."
