How long in QA?

Hello All,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've been following my 2010 MCS convertible's way thru the production pipe, and I had a couple of questions:

How long was the average time your car spent in QA?

...And...

I'm on day three there, should I be concerned?

Thanks!

My QA lasted a couple of hours. It was rushed to make the boat leaving the same day. And it shows, I have a mis-aligned wheel arch that I've been fighting my dealer with for over a month. It's better to wait a few extra days in Oxford then have to fight for a few months here in the States to get things right..

I wouldn't sweat it. My production started on Friday, but when I called today to check progress, nothing new had happened. The person on the phone at ASK MINI said the production line was closed this week, so nothing's moving through.

I didn't even see mine in QA while tracking it. It was 11 days from production start to completion, over one weekend.

I'm not sure when my build started, but it was completed on the 7th, and then went to final quality check. It's been there ever since.
