New(ish) R56!! :-)

Hey NAM....

I'm a long time follower of this forum and I FINALLY got a MINI of my own ! It's a 2007 MCS (manual ), with 23,000 miles... Sport package, premium package, punch leather seats, LSD, and hifi, all for $20k. I'm loving this car! Here are some pictures...

I'm from Long Island, NY btw... anybody from the area?

Anyways I'm very happy to now be apart of the MINI community

Welcome to NAM! Beautiful car, BTW. I hope you've already started collecting your OCMD (obsessive compulsive MINI disorder) detailing kit.... Happy motoring, and like the good bigsoup said: don't forget to wave.

I just checked out your gallery and haha very cool. I love you color combo ... I would have loved to been able to get a convertible, but this is my only car and it would be a bit interesting moving back up to school to say the least, as storage space is a bit limited from what in saw

Infact it's already going to be interesting moving back up to school in a couple of weeks

To say that the convertible would be a bit more challanging as a pack mule would be an understatement. The seats still fold down but the pop up roll bar assembly takes up some space. Still pretty impressive for its size though.

A friend just bought a 2006 MCS convertible that came with the bike rack connection that was actually a hitch too that could pull a small trailer (see www.minidomore.com).

Have fun at school and Happy Motoring. I think that a MCS would have been too distracting for me when I was in college....probably kill at least a few tenths of a point off of the ole GPA!!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

@gawannamini
cool idea, it'd be kinda funny to see a mini hauling around trailers double their size lol
