Windscreen Question

Hi everyone~
I'm a newbie to posting on a mini site. I've loved my mini for nearly 3 years (2006 Mini Convertible) now and my factory windscreen has finally falling apart --- I love with my top off so the sun has made my windscreen very brittle.

I've enjoyed the air reduction with the factory windscreen but have not enjoyed the pain in the butt aspect of removing it everytime I want to throw a suitcase or kiddo in the back seat. And the $300-$400 price tag isn't very attractive either.

I've read about Brownflyers and wondered how they really compared (air reduction wise for front seat passengers) to the factory one.

Any and all comments are welcome.
Thank you!

I'd really love to get some experienced feedback. If anyone has had the Factory wind deflector and then purchased a third party one, I'd absolutely LOVE to hear from you.

Thanks again.
