window not operating

I just purchased a 2003 mini (my first), and the passenger window quit operating. I have already tried to reset it, but I just get a clicking sound. Are mini's notorious for power window failures?

Give the interior door panel a good whack just above the speaker.

Window problem

Just as Jeremy1026 suggested, a couple of good wacks and it worked perfectly

Woohooooo....thanks.

Whacked the door 4-times above the large speaker and the small speakers. The window works now. Thanks for the info.

I have tried the "whack" to no avail. My passenger window won't budge from the up position, which means the convertible top won't open! Not good here in Florida. This is my second Mini with this window problem.
