Blue coolant vs. Green?

New 06' S owner. How much difference does the type of coolant you use in a mini matter?

Is there a difference in coolants other then the color? I have some orange stuff in my MINI right now.

If you search this topic in the forum most would recommend that you buy the MINI approved/OEM coolant at your local dealership.

Yes it makes a difference due to the metalurgy make up of the engine....

Just us the stuff MINI has or recommends.....
