My Interchange Yellow S Vert' is looking for some friends. Once it gets state side he is having some major surgery, as it will be getting a lung and, a umm, exit area , transplant.

 

I just punched in my VIN at the WW Cargo Tracking and no results . I would like to stop at NY, so much closer and sooner then SC. Looks like Tiffany will be taking (would love to find a way to confirm that) the AEGEAN HIGHWAY to SC.

Hey, do you have someone specific at Ask Mini that you talk to...???? You seen to get more info than I ever get calling them...

I didn't get the ship info from ASK MINI. I got that from WW's website. And no, no one specific I talk to. The girl I talked to today (Laura) actually said that they will be useless to me now and that only my MA will be able to help track it.

Thanks, doc says it'll be 4 weeks after surgery before I can drive. I'm going to be chugging along through physical therapy so that I can drive in 2.

 

AAM said that my car had been released to the carrier...and the Customer Relations could add nothing. They said only the dealer network will have any updates from now on.
As the car is going to Charleston SC, which means K-line as the shipping company, only my MA can apparently give me any info on Ship and
time.
Hopefully, it will make the Aegean Highway on the 4th, cause the next K-line ship isn't for another week after that.

Mark maybe both your and my car will sail on Saturday for SC

 

Called my MA today to see if the dealer info network could tell me more on which ship aannndddd HE IS ON VACATION till next Tuesday !!!

Timing, will have to say my prayers !!!

 

Another MA at your dealer should be able to track your MINI down for ya.

 

Do you mean a total 'transplant' or an 'augmentation'? If it's a transplant, why would you get the 'S'?

Yeah, if you're not on a WW ship, you need your MA for any info. I punched in the vin every day just in case it was booked on one of their ships! Good Luck! It's the 'not knowing' that sucks.

You're having knee surgery also? Can the car surgery be covered along with the knee surgery?

I pretty much got the same info. I only spoke to a live person once and she told me the shipping info has a four day delay. hmmm, I haven't tried ask-mini since then, only the WW site. After it's on the boat, I'll email my MA.

Its a transplant, its getting the JCW Tuning Kit put on so that means a new intake and exhaust (and an ECU flash.)

I asked my MA about ship information, he said that information hasn't been posted and he will find out soon.

 

The Fedora is on the move! I just barely missed catching it on the webcam, stupid lunch!!

 

I called ASK-MINI today and the guy I talked to said that my status hasn't been updated since the 23rd, which is over a week ago. Said that it's possible my car is actually finished but just not updated in the system. Man I hope that's true. I guess I'll find out Monday.

 

It's gotta be done by now. Try throwing your VIN into WWs site. You might be in for a surprise to find your MINI has been loaded on the Fedora .

 

They are loading the Aegean Highway right now (actually been moored dockside for about 3 hours.) I'm believing that my MA will confirm my car got loaded today. It is scheduled to leave port at 2 PM Southampton time tomorrow (which is 9 AM EDT) It is bound for Baltimore and then Charleston SC. Mark I hope both our cars are on it.

 

Let me know when it gets to Baltimore, I might take a ride down to the port to see if I can snap a picture or two of the boat for you guys

Was that your first or second estimated completion date? Mine was first estimated at the 26th, much later revised to the 30th (which they actually accomplished!!) If they made it your car will be headed to the docks probably sometime between today and Wednesday.

Where are they shipping your car to? It's time to start guessing which boat you'll be on !!!

 

I called at lunch and they said it's done now...finally! July 5th was my second date. It was originally the 2nd. I'm gonna go look at schedules now to try and figure out which boat . My car will be dropped of in NY

 

WW has a ship leaving Southampton tomorrow! Maybe you'll catch that one!

My MINI was born on the 1st, and boarded the Fedora on the same day. You have plenty of time to catch your boat .
