Anyone on the FEDORA?
I'm on Fedora
Hi All,
Glad I found this forum. It is truly interesting to read all of these posts and information. I have never gotten into my car as much as I am my mini.
Purchased a Horizon Blue Mini Cooper Hardtop. I was confirmed on Fedora as well.
I'll keep reading. See ya!

WW reported releasing mine on Friday after 8PM, and the OL status changed to At Distribution Center on Sunday morning. So depending on how long it took to get from the port to the distribution center, the OL may have been up to a day behind, or it may have been "spot on".
My MA reported I was waiting for a truck on Monday, apparently Frank and I need a few more riders to form a truckload!
I also found out I'd missed the armrest when I spec'd Elphaba out. I can add one at the dealer but it'll cost more.

Well the Fedora has made port in Charleston so I guess the end to my non-appearing VIN mystery is close to an end. Hopefully by the end of the day I may have some indication of where my car is. Have not heard back from my MA after he emailed and said he left a message for his Area Manager about my car. I'm planning on driving over to see him (50 miles each way) tomorrow regardless of what I hear or today. Maybe I can inspire him to take a little more interest in this sale.

So has anyone here decided for or against the Xzilon and wheel protection offered by the dealers? Pros/Cons? I know there are threads devoted specifically to these things, but I thought since we're all in the same group, we could discuss it amongst ourselves.
Good bye Fedora - finally received some additional info from my MA - he sent a me a copy of his Pipeline sheet which gave me a sailing date of 5/31 from Southampton with a 6/10 arrival date in Charleston - I was able to cross reference this with the KK line schedule and it shows the Oregon Highway as the probable carrier for my BRG Clubbie. The Port of Charleston webpage shows the Oregon Highway in port and discharging vehicles. The bad news is the the VDC is no longer working seven days a week but only Monday thru Thursday so I doubt the car will get there before Monday
Got email from my MA, my MINI arrived in Buffalo around 6:30 last night. Wish he'd called instead of writing but it doesn't really matter, since I'm not free to pick it up until Saturday anyway (150 mile drive requires a little more planning than "sometime next week".)
How do you know what truck you are on? I still have another week until mine gets to Pittsburgh. I stopped by my dealership yesterday to take a test drive of a JCW Clubman. Thank goodnees I did not order one of those I would have 10 speeding tickets before I got it home the first day. While I was there I had them show me the Carbon Fiber accessories and I love them
I'm getting them all added before I pick it up.
Your MA should be able to tell you if it's already on a truck, and where that truck is in it's journey as it goes from MINI dealer to MINI dealer dropping off cars.
On a bright note, Scooby is in and is ready for delivery.

I have a new method of tracking my MINI. I press the remote and it beeps from my driveway! Yay!
Happened to pick up the car in the middle of the dealer's celebration of MINI's 50th, so it was rather hectic and a lot to take in. So many MINIs to look at, and only time to focus on one!
I picked up with 4 miles on the odometer and have over 150 now, mostly from returning home, and over an hour on the Openometer. Sadly part of that was in the rain, and we finally gave in and put the top up for a while. Talk about wind noise, this car is quieter open than closed at highway speeds!
