Sitting in the port at New York getting lighter one of these days we will figure out how many of the MINI's on our boat were let off at each port so I figure that NYC is going to get 100 of the 358 on board. I think I better stay on the boat until all the MINI's are off so that I can get a better count yeah that's it

Interesting...my MA told me Brunswick is for the southeast and Charleston is for things going to the mid-atlantic/mid-west. Hopefully Scooby disembarks in Brunswick, and hops a short ride on a truck to Orlando! I hope to have him before the 20th.

BRGminime~ here is a link to some different cams you might have to pick thru http://www.sciway.net/ccr/webcams.html

Minigator09~ I bet you get off at Brunswick, I was told Charleston to start with, but I don't think it's going to delay me.

Good news - MAYBE - emailed my MA about the arrival date/ship for my BRG clubbie as I have not been able to find it on any of the WW lists. His comment was that while they do not know the name of the ship he expects it to land on June 10th which corresponds with the Fedora. So I went back and determine the booking number for the Fedora and rechecked on the VIN's but still did not find mine - I guess only time will tell but this would be a week earlier than the Courage. Speaking of the Courage there are no listings for cars loaded on that ship - the listings go from the Undine on 6/3 and skip to the Othello on 6/5. No listings of loaded cars for 6/4 when the Courage was in port.

If your VIN isn't on the Fedora through WW, I would wager it's on the other ship. All vehicles on their ships would show up in inventory IMO.

Did a search of the WW site using %74341 but nothing matching my VIN back to August of 2008 - I guess there is a chance I am on a K-line boat but none of their boats matches June 10 in Charleston - sure is a mystery to me

I sure cannot say you are wrong but I cannot come up with a reason why my MA would give me a date that he was unsure of so I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed and see what happens on the 10th -

I looked over the list of 358 vin's with no luck sorry. sometimes they dont show up in a search that is why I wanted to check all the VIN's only one ended in 341 but it was 86341. on the search I usually use all the front numbers and leave off the last 5 putting the % sign as the next number in the VIN. I figured it was worth a look anyway

I saw the second stop for the Don Pasquale, too... it turns out that the BMW VDC is attached to the port from the first stop... so all Minis are already off the boat that would have done so. I don't know what the second stop is for; apparently another brand of car?

When the DP stopped in NYC, it managed both ports in a single day easily... so don't worry; it will be on its way south shortly...

I was on the Fedora with you, but I got off in NYC headed for Buffalo. Did you see me wave as you sailed on?

BRG/B MCc, premium & sport

Thinking of naming it Elphaba after the wicked witch of the west: it's green, it's small (shrunk when it got wet?) and it's wicked (well I think so, even if I couldn't swing an S or JCW!)

It looks like my BRG/B Clubman will also be headed up the NYS Thruway soon. It has a much shorter ride, less than three hours to Albany. I will stop in to see my MA today. Hope to take delivery next week.

I'm re-establishing contact with my MA as well, too far to drive for me though. In fact I almost went through Albany myself, it's only 10 miles further from me.

The OL still says En Route, but then it still lists the original specs before the dealer changed them for my order!

Did you get your Elphaba at Northtowne on Main? I was out there looking at their selection a few months back to see if they had what I wanted. I was traveling through on Business so I stopped. They had a decent selection there.

Congrats on the quick delivery. I'm still waiting mine just got dropped off in charleston, SC Yesterday~! I wish mine could have got off in NYC it is much closer to Pittsburgh??? I hoping I have mine in time to go to the Mid Ohio speedway Vintage Gran Prix at the end of the month. they are celebrating the 50 years of MINI as the feature car.! I have a friend taking his Classic mini and I want mine fresh off the production line.! cool irony!

Towne MINI, yes - not many options around here! Sounds like you've been there more times than I have. I test-drove with a local '07 MCSc because Towne didn't have a convertible with auto at the time. My first visit will be to meet Elphaba!

am I the only one that has had their MA constantly in touch with me from the time of order? I get email updates from her every few days. Sometimes just an email asking me if I'm getting excited delivery is so close.

Except for responses to emails I sent I haven't been contacted by my MA. Perhaps he feels that answering my questions about the progress of my BRG Clubbie. Is enough but it sure would be nice if he showed some interest in the car and the sale of it. I get the impression that if I had not asked what was going on I would not get a call until the car was ready for me to pick up.
