They also told me that the weeks start with the first full week which next week would be week 20? not 21. I feel a little lost but excited!

YAYYYY! So excited for you... Soon it will be taking a snooze via the big boat until its time to take its first steps on American soil.. woohoo!

BTW.. after doing some reading I think I am going to add JCW Suspension to my list of mods.. I did some research on motorting file and it seems like a great setup.

just got off the phone with my MA she gave me my VIN # and told me that is set to be completed on the 20th. Then it's the long wait for a boat and the long boat ride then the covered wagon to Okieville (Oklahoma) Sweet!

Still showing in production. I've been checking out the boats websites I sure hope I don't spend a lot of time trying to get on a boat? I am so ready to start tracking the trip across the pond

Nothing has changed as of yet on mine but WOW you must be so anxious!!
I check every morning for a status change. From what I hear, online is behind a little bit. I don't want to irritate my Motoring Advisor so just trying to be patient until June then I will start calling to find the real status.

They don't mind at all, they get calls all the time. When I called the 1st couple of times they still showed it on order. but when they started production, the girl in a chiper voice said looks like someone has a birthday! then she gave me the time they started 5:16 and 10 seconds (am) 5-11-09 she asked if I had a name for it yet? some are better than others I have heard of people calling back a couple of times if they got someone that didn't seem to be able to find their way around very well. but everyone I talked to had no troubles .. call them!!!

Yes I am going CRAZY

I think that would be a sweet addition! One of the guys in the local MINI club was trying to talk me into doing a different brand, but the JCW version would be way cool!

How goes it? BTW from what I hear.. Mini calibrates the suspension based on your specific car and options.. Its expensive but if that is the case then I actually feel good about the engineering put into it. Will have to see. Read more on it etc. Where is your car in production.. Mine still shows on order.. BAH!

I signed up for a high performance driving school about a month after I get mine (or should) I should get a chance to see how the shocks are working and decide if I want to change out the factory version

I have moved to scheduled for production.. Apparently Comet is moving through the birth canal as they put it. Wonder if they wait until they get a big round of cars coming and then put them on the boat? If so, we could possibly have ship mates..

Sorry for the delay.. Holiday weekend and did not get notification of your new messages.. I am still in production through the end of the week <two more days> then it goes to wait for the boat.

Cooperation did my previous logo with my Cooper S. Love his work.. May hit him up when I get the car modified a bit.

Whats going on with your car?

I had to call my MA and add a couple of things, I am going to go ahead with the JCW suspension so once I get off the FEDORA and get to OKC they have to put on the aero kit, JCW MF steering wheel, carbon dash, and the suspension. I will put the checker sunroof decals on and the stripes, and tint the windows. mean time I am in the black hole until we get closer to canada

Fantastic! Can not wait to see pictures.. and now I am depending on your first hand impression of the JCW suspension.. I have decided no aero kit for mine.. I kind of like the simple look and instead and going to put the money toward wheels.. now for which ones... Not JCW I am pretty sure however I saw a set of R113s powdercoated white that were just beautiful! Oh this car is gonna cost us some money!!! LOL

Speedy delivery!

Craig

I am tell ya we are going to have a couple sweet MINI's I think most people would not even notice if the aero kit was on it or not. and like you said you could get you some new wheels I lucked out with it coming in Chili red already so I just have to pay for the kit and installation no paint needed.

Sweet deal! I did not know that they came in red already.. That works out too well! I have been looking at NMEngineering items and they are well reviewed on here and many items come in blue! I am pumped!
