Another Newbie Checking In
Hi everybody,
My name is Gabriel. I've owned my mini, a grey 1990 998 powered one, for about 14 months. I've been lurking around the classic mini forum off and on since I got the car, but I finally got around to introducing myself.
The car was a lot of fun to drive, when it was running, but the engine started smoking and I took the cylinder head off to assess the damage. It seems as though it only has worn rings, but I also has a cylinder head meant for leaded fuel. As of right now I'm looking for an engine swap, hopefully a 1275. I miss driving it, especially the handling.
