Hey, everyone. I'm new to this whole forum thing, but not a new MINI owner. My very first car was a 2004 British Racing Green/Black Cooper S. My boyfriend bought checkered mirror mirror caps for my birthday last year and I was saving up to replace my black stripes with checkered ones. Sadly, I totaled my car in Februrary by hydroplaning into the back of a pickup truck. After mourning for a month I inherited my dad's 2007 Chili Red/Black Cooper S. Have no fear- I did not leave my father MINI Cooper-less. He is now the proud owner of a 2009 MINI S. Go figure- I get in the accident and he gets the new car

Thanks! The accident really wasn't that bad. I was going maybe 10 mph. It's just that where the front of my car impacted the hitch... I missed the airbag sensor by an inch, it crunched the hood up like a sardine can, and my engine got pushed back. No one was injured, and I didn't even hae whiplash or anything. Needless to say-Driving in the rain out here is VERY different than driving in the rain in South Florida (where I'm originally from).
