My order on the owners lounge shows that it's complete and awaiting transport, but where it indicates what factory options were ordered, it's blank. I ordered some packages and rear fog lamps, but all it shows is the Model, exterior, and interior description.


Is this normal?

 

I received my MCS maybe 2 weeks ago... and it had been sitting at the dealership for another 2 weeks or so before that.

I think the owner's lounge still shows everything as being blank, but my car was just as I had ordered it.

 

It wasn't normal for any of our MINIs, it always showed options. The exception was it didn't show Shawn's Bluetooth option, which caused me a panic call to my MA.

You should check with your MA, he has most information available. Alternatively 866 ASK MINI might be able to help.

 

Right now the Owners' Lounge says that I ordered a 2009 Mellow Yellow Clubman S -- a car that they don't even offer, and none of the options I specified is listed. A couple years ago the Owners' Lounge showed my 2007 MCSm with wrong options, but it came through exactly as I had ordered it.

The OL doesn't mean much. Don't fret about it.

 

mine was blank too the entire time through the tracking process. I got my car last week. In fact, it is still blank, but the exterior and interior descriptions were correct. Oh well...

 

Call 1-866-ASK-MINI and get a live person on the phone. I think their information is more accurate than what's on the OL.

 

I was told not to worry, the listing may be wrong, but the car will be built correctly. We are waiting for our first mini 2009 convertible, interchange yellow. It arrived in NYC ON 3/20/09-TORRENS, dealer says we can pick it up on Saturday, 3/28 . YEAH

 

Yeah, at one point my listing of info disappeared, then was back, now is gone again. But the Vehicle Inquiry Report from my MA has all the right info.

Slightly off-topic, I'm terribly jealous luv2mini. My car was on the TORRENS as well, but I haven't heard about a firm pickup date yet (don't think it's made it to the dealer).

 

Well, our MCS is expected at the dealership tomorrow-then ready for pickup on Sat.-tentatively-hope you get news soon. when I called mini, today, they had no info, just that they wait to fill up a truck b4 they transport to the dealership. It will be a 2hour ride to the dealership for us. Hope you hear about your arrival soon
