Well... be a little more patient. Sounds like your wife misses her baby and is anxious to get her back, but most folks are working at this time of day. You'll probably see a ton of responses later this afternoon as folks start to get home from work.

Where in the North are you? I'm in Washington and drove my MINI all winter. I don't see the point in owning a car so that I have to garage it for four months out of the year. So I just add snow tires and GO PLAY! Love driving my MINI in the snow.

Also... you might check this thread and see if you have a similar problem to what's described here:

And by the way:

WELCOME TO NAM!!! You're gonna love it here.

Thanks for responding. Not trying to be impatient. Just trying to squeeze my time, if you know what I mean. I will check back later. I live in Northern Michigan. Lots of snow.

Welcome to NAM - there's lots of information here. If you have an '02 MCS, you may want to make sure you're posting in the 1st Generation threads - you might get better luck with any other problems you encounter.

Looks like MINIDave answered your question. I had to replace my '04 MCS battery after it was left for a year without starting. It was "D-E-D" Dead!
