What does the dealer pay for options like auto-trans?

I always thought most dealers marked up the options by a larger percentage then the actual car markup and made a larger profit on these items. So I decided to find out and I went ahead and paid $14 and get the Consumer Reports itemized car report.
If I'm reading it right it looks like the auto-trans costs me $1250 and the dealer $1125.
Does that sound right?

Sounds right to me. Actually, it looks like it cost you $1264.

yes. My MA gave me a breakdown sheet of what invoice vs. retail price for certain options are, and that sounds about right.
