Wow, my MA is without a clue(in San Antonio) He must be new. I've been pestering him for the past two weeks about reports, what ship I'm going to be on, what port....nothing. He told me to check the OL. Wow, not really up on the news

Anyhow, found out with all the NAM info and assitance(thanks all!) that I'm on the Faust! solid. only bummer is that it looks like we won't hit Georgia until 3/31, and won't be on the lot before the financing offers expire. once again my MA was clueless on any future options...we'll see

Sorry to hear you've had such a frustrating time. At the very list every MA should be able to tell you what port the car's coming in, it's at the top of the Vehicle Inquiry Report. At least you found your car and what ship your on

Mine's only a short trip to Long Beach. Its lame yours has to go all the way out west, then head back again. There must be a better way.

Unfortunately, neither Torrens nor Topeka transmit weather data so while they're in the middle of the Atlantic we can't track them

Isn't Torrens to be in NY/NJ tomorrow or is Saturday ? I thought it would be within range to pick up on the tracking charts...but so far no luck . Topeka is probably 3-4 days behind Torrens.

My MA emailed me and confirmed that my car is due to arrive in Halifax Mar 25. They put in a request at the VDC to get my car through ASAP and to the dealership since I've been waiting so long. Looking at delivery near the end of the second week of April at this point.

 

I see Torrens at the New York dock this morning. Any smiles out there?

And yes, I'm thrilled - my car's not officially "discharged" but it's "Customs Released" and "Line Released", so it's gotta be off the boat soon.

That's some awesome news. In only four weeks that I've waited so far I'm getting really itchy to get my new car, I don't know how you handled waiting as long as you have.

Hopefully they can drop my car off on the way not likely at all but I can still hope.

 

Heh, co-workers that I wasn't aware knew I was getting a car have come up to me and been like "So when's the car coming?" They've told their spouses about the arrival of the car.

Ahh pickup...I'm eagerly awaiting that day...You'll all have posted pictures of your new rides by the time mine shows up. Also, its being delivered in another city so I have to find time to get up there and drive her home.
