Tax would of course be #1.
Are there any other musts?
The salesman said they have some kind of paint protection. Is it worth it?
Any other non-cosmetic items? Do you get floor mats?

Thanks I appreciate any help.

I had to pay a relatively small dealer prep fee, but other than did not pay for any of the extras as I did not choose these options (such as paint protection, etc). I did buy the rubber floor and boot mats. They're great and I highly recommend them. I also had the clear bra done but at a local place rather than the dealers. I had the check made out for the exact amount so that I wasn't swayed during the moment and only purchased what I had thoroughly considered before picking up the car.

Good luck!

I just placed an order with MINI of SF. The out the door price is the agreed upon price of the vehicle + tax (based on your county) + license (dmv) + documentation fee (each dealer is different, SF is $45). I'm sure when I pick up the car, they'll offer extended warranty, this and that protection, yada yada yada. That's all optional and not necessary, IMHO.

Btw, if you configured the vehicle (assuming you're ordering), the last page on the online configurator list items that the dealer installs. The price listed is just the cost of the part, you'll have to pay extra for installation costs. This may include any JCW items, which I think are dealer installed.

Btw, floor mats are not included, but certainly negotiable.

Happy Motoring!

Thanks for the great info Guys

I sounds like all the Dealer things can be done cheaper at other places.

Hi Kewlby
I'm not sure I'll order. If they had stock they wanted to move and would go below MSRP I would try and do that.
Did you pay over MSRP ? My quote from SF Mini was $1500 extra.
