ya know wats odd is the fedora never even showed up on that site. i wonder if the holiday is gonna screw us up on monday. the labor day set me back a day or 2. these holidays always fall in the wrong place! i'd rather go to work and be able to get this car already!

Haha! I have a weekly dinner for my friends after hours at my restaurant every friday night and I'm pretty sure I mentioned at about 2AM that we should head to Jersey City and break Milo out of the VDC. We are all very excited that he will be joining us at our next dinner party though!

EDIT: WOOT! Logged into Owners Lounge and Milo is in the VDC!

I'd love you to be right on this, but I'm hedging my bets a bit and think it's going to be early next week - at least for me. I hope I'm wrong and you're right, though!

 

My estimated delivery is 10/11, so i think it is very possible at this point. Does everyone have a delivery date?

Where are you getting your "estimated delivery" dates from, if I may ask? The Owner's Lounge?

p.s. who knows how reliable it is, mine changed from 10/13 to 10/12 in a matter of hours.

 

Call me jaded, but I don't really believe the OL too much when it comes to dates.

LOL!!! Yes, we are all banking on the OL being right when it had most of us as "scheduled for production" when we were already on the ship headed here.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled for everyone if their MAs called them today and said "Come on over!", but it usually does take at least 5 days, or more, to get one's MINI from the VDC...but ya never know.

I emailed my MA this morning and got an auto reply saying he was away until the 17th and that I could get in touch with the manager. I'm 99% that I was told, several weeks ago, that I'd be getting mine in the 3rd week of October. I'll probably call up there later on this week and try to get an idea of when next week I'll be taking delivery - which will work out fine for me, even though I'd love to have the new one sooner.

 

hey everyone, picked up my new ride tonight!!!!!! waahooooo, steve sold it to me, he's a good guy, probably reading these things, fast emails and stuff so i'll put a good word in for him. no time for pics yet, but i'll post when i have a chance. so if i got mine, everyone must be getting very close!!!!!

 

Wow!!! I think you may have broken MINI pick up time American records! Congratulations!!!!

P.S. Just spoke to my dealership and found out that I could have picked up mine on Friday, too. I'm amazed. I'll be holding off and will be aiming for Monday because my MA is out of town on MINI biz and I won't be around over the weekend.
