Good news! Looks like my MCS is in production a week early. Yippeee!

Bad news! The color has switched to Sparkling Silver It had shown the correct color - Lightning Blue - up until this weekend on the Owner's Lounge. It suddenly changed today. Hence, my call into Mini USA.

I hope that we can get it straightened out. I've been waiting since July 12th and would love to have my baby before the snow flies here.

 

Will keep fingers crossed that you can get it straightened out.

Thanks for the well wishes. I had a lot of panic over the afternoon.

I've got to say, both Mini USA and Ralph Schomp did a great job of handling this situation. Once I had called into Mini USA they immediately got a hold of my MA at Ralph Schomp. They went over the paperwork and couldn't find out where the error occurred just that it did. Unfortunately, the car is too far into the system to change the color back.

Happily, Lance, my MA, was able to submit a new build with my specs for a production slot next week. I'm no further behind in the schedule than I was originally.

I'm very pleased with both Mini USA and Lance at Ralph Schomp. They made a bad situation salvageable.
