Im just mad about Saffron!
Hey all!
Just wanted to drop a line and introduce myself. My name is Hutch I live in RI and i 5 days ago i ordered my first mini! she is a MY/B MCS with black bonnet stripes, driving lights and checkered sideview mirrors. She also has an LSD, Xenon headlights, Rear Fogs, and Heated mirrors/jets and Lojack.... so dont get any ideas!

Anyway, im very excited and just wanted to stop in and say hi! this site is just awesome with tons of info (i have been trolling the last couple of days waiting for my account to get activated). I have no idea how im going to survive all this time! the more i read the more i crave my new new baby Saffron (in case u didnt pick that up before its her name!)

Did you get a production number yet?
Seems the dealer's allotment is low on the ol' ordering pole....
I ordered 8-8-08 and haven't gotten a production date --possibly week 40 from ASK MINI

thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'm glad to hear all the words of support, I was starting to second guess the color choice a little. Been getting alot of laughs from pol about my color and checkers but I tell them, I have already done the "seriouse" fast car (my '95 M3) now I want something fun but still quick!
As far as dealer slot goes I have no idea what week I'll be :( the order is still processing at the plant :(!
Miniphan (or anyone else for that matter) I'm down in Narragansett feel free to look me up if u are in the area or wan to meet up for a cruise!
