Haha. Nah, it's more of a psychological thing, methinks. Of course, I think the best rhetoric accounts for such things. But who's to say? Sounds like a publishable idea to me...

It's at least a master's thesis, maybe a whole dissertation.

Already did a Master's thesis. Stuck to private prisons on that one.

But, yes, it could very well be a large project. I keep thinking of too many of those large projects, though...I need one that's doable in the time span of a dissertation!! Arg. Too much to think about sometimes.

I seem to have jinxed myself. I was so busy at work this week that I could not see my way clear to pick up my Mini until Saturday. I worked like a lunatic and left on time tonight for a change figuring I would pick it up and take a nice long road trip. The dealer hadn't finished with the final touches and the bank needed one more piece of paper. Oh well. Few more hours now.

My friend at work and I went out this morning with Milo and he was loving how it hugged corners.
So what happened to breaking in your MINI gently?

OMG!!! This car is FUN. I picked it up early this afternoon. On the way home, a guy in a Subaru Outback tried to stay with me through a curve. Hehehehehe. Not a prayer. I blew right by him . . . I mean, I proceded in a safe fashion to pass the other motorist. I am going out driving for as long as I possibly can plus 100 miles. I'll be back later. Just talk among yourselves.

Don't say that! I'm on the boat AFTER yours to the West Coast. Mine was built 10/1 so missed your boat by two days and then had to wait 11 days for the next boat. So, in my eyes your MINI is just around the corner!

While that's true, my boat just went through the Canal--nearly a week later than planned! But we'll all be happy soon enough.

We're trying...

It's exciting that each day brings us closer to uniting with our creations, but sometimes it's hard to remain upbeat when I hear of week 40 folks taking delivery!!!

I'm okay. Really.

Happy weekend, all.

That's too bad about your Wk 49 crowd... But you're welcome to hang out here! (I vote for David in Germany being last to get his car! )

Pictures tomorrow, I promise. I have been driving too much to stop and actually take pictures. I'll take them while I am working on Monday.

Well I just spent 2 days cleaning out the garage and aranging all of my spare LBC car parts to make room for the new arrival. I guess it is kinda like 'painting the nusery'. So now I am sore from head to foot but I believe I have room for the MINI. - I will be 'squeezing' 5 cars into a 3 car garage. I will post pictures after the MINI arrives and I have them all tucked in.
