I don't know if there should be an official wave or not, but I too feel somewhat let down if I flash or wave and not get a response. I mean, most MINI owners/drivers typically are not your average doorknob behind the wheel. We're in tune, in touch and on the look out for all that comes our way. Occasionally we get caught up in our own busy little world to where an occasional MINI sighting slips by, but I say, if you realize you passed another fellow MINI enthusiast and you realize you may have missed that opportunity,
you can always tap your brakes a couple of times to say in passing "I saw you". If you're in that small majority of people who drives a MINI with the thouht that it's just another mode of transport from point A to B, well then my friend, I guess you're nothing more than a lifeless poser who might as well be driving a clapped out (you fill in the blank of your favorite car you like to ridicule) car!

Here's another couple of things I don't always admit. I can't help myself when one of those nimrods in a Ford Compensater gives me that pitying look. I am so quick out of the gates, they are still trying to get their little foot to press the accelerator.(so much for gas mileage). Second thing- she's like a great pair of jeans. You look better in things that fit well.

Hey - be nice to the Ford "Compensaters" dear...My F150 is considered my "MINI Support Vehicle", and other MINI drivers give ME the "pitying" look when I wave when driving it, if they even acknowledge me.

Well my daily driver was my 3/4 ton Dodge pickup. You should have seen the dirty looks I would get when I went to the local hippie food co-op store. But hey, people with horses and farms need real trucks which is why I'm holding on to it even though I got the MINI.

Looking forward to much easier parking experiences.

At night, I give a quick flip or two of my rear fog lights. Because you're always, you know... behind me...
