I had a bit of an issue with the loan or so I thought & insurance quotes as well, put in a call to my MA & got a voicemail delivering the good news that the loan was fine & even better my MINI arrived in Cleveland on 9/15. Waiting until Saturday to pick up seems more frustrating than the wait while it was built. I love hearing the stories & seeing photos from everyone so far!

ya know folks, I think I wrote that I put 20% tint on my windows... I'm a dufus. It's 60% tint (it's the "can barely tell it's tinted" type)- sorry if I confused anyone other than myself...

It is finally mine! I just stopped home to drop off my spare set of tires (non-all-seasons) Baron was great, I got free rubber floor mats, a water bottle, an umbrella, a keychain, and some mints!! I was in and out in 90 min. Now it is time to drive! Later...

I'm with Vivi. It was cool to see everyone's description in their sig's but it's a whole different experience seeing the pics...they're worth more than a thousand words. Congrats everyone! Hopefully all of us left-behinders will be posting pics in the coming week.

If not I'm forcing Vivi to take me cruising...

Well the Western Hy arrived in port about 1:30 this morning and started off loading at 7:00. I hope everyones Mini is safe and has a speedy trip through the VDC to the dealer and then home.

I promise I'll get them tonight. I ended up working late, almost ran outside before it got too dark to take pics....but felt a little silly doing so. I will post tonight or tomorrow. Seriously, I will.

I'm hoping to make it. My wife and I had plans prior to me finding out about the Halloween party, but they start at 6, so we still might be able to make it. *crosses fingers*

Gorgeous car, btw! I'm jealous of the Alta antenna, although the wife is petitioning hard for me to keep the stock one. (She thinks it cute...)
