Awaiting Oliver

Hello all. I'm Tony and live in the Clearwater Florida 1/2 mile from my Mini dealership. Oliver is scheduled to arrive in Brunswich Ga next Tuesday Aug 5th. So I'm very close. Hopefully will have him in time for the monthly meeting at Steak and Shake.
He's Mellow Yellow with and black top and black stripes on the bonnet. Auto and cruise control, plus a moon roof. I've read the posts about the troubles there, will have to see how I make out. Very excited. When I get him I'll have to do a picture for my avatar.
Till then.

Tony

ahhh you lucky thing! I am jealous on 2 counts, one your getting... 2, you live so close to your dealer... which I know must be Ferman's! My "baby" is going to be born 8/4... and then however long it takes to get here... I guess my first two (orders I placed and cancelled) should be arriving with your little one! If you see a Pepper White with Redwood leather... that's one of them!

I am down south in Venice, and it took us about 1 1/2 hours to get to Ferman's - why they located it there...!!!! Oh well.. I had a good experience with the dealership so far, and expect it to continue. Good luck and Congrats!!!

Yes I've had good relations with them also. Do you know about the meetings on the 2nd Tuesday at Quaker Steak? It's on 49th and us 19 south of Ulmerton road. They say they get there about 5;30 and eat then hang out in the parking lot and chat.

Was talking to the wife when she got home from work. One of her coworkers has a Mini that's been sitting in Brunswich for a couple of weeks and still doesn't know when he's getting it! That doesn't sound good.

Found out today that only the one car is effected. Maybe it'll come with ours.

Thank you MiniBella. Great color on yours. Had a gyrocopter painted that color. Loved that machine.
Did you see they brought Oliver back from Africa? Right nice I thought.
Cheers

T,

I picked up my 08 MCS from Ferman this week. Last week when I saw that it was in Ga, my MA gave me more detail about transport. He was right on--it was delivered Monday and I picked up on Tuesday.

You'll be cruising in no time--maybe I'll see you at Quaker Steak--I live in New Tampa.
