I spoke to her today! She's so nice... I was about to hang up, and she said that she needed to ask me something before I went: "What did you name your MINI?" Then we got into a conversation about why we like BRG...

Ah, and I have a question for you guys, but I'm afraid to post a new thread about it. If you have the MFSW, but don't get the Bluetooth option, do you still get the Bluetooth buttons? Are there different versions of the MFSW?

I don't think there will be dummy buttons. Could be a question for your MA. There probably are several variations of the MFSW.

Maybe your car is in front of mine or behind mine Mine is due on 7th also.

I'm sure it's like my M3 and other BMWs. You get the buttons for phone, stereo, and CC. If you don't order BT the phone buttons don't do anything.

HAHA yeah thats exactlly what she asked me too before we got into a long conversation about why my girlfriend decided to call the car Luigi and the best part is that she remembered me the next time I spoke to her. She is hands down the best person to talk to at ASKMINI Well as far as production goes for my car it should be completed some time tomorrow. It was in the paint shop yesterday afternoon so it wont be long now

Baby MINI released to the carrier heading toward the docks! Two ships make port at Southampton this week with ports of call at Charleston. Western Highway (K-Line) 08/08 arriving at Charleston 08/21 and Independence II (WW) 08/09 arriving at Charleston 08/23. Come on New York, and Baltimore MINIs get ready to load up. No hurry though, Independence is still heading for Zeebrugge and Western Highway will leave Bremerhaven for Southampton tomorrow! Western Highway would be nice, since it would leave a day earlier and arrive two days earlier than the WW ship.

What's your "Port Loc." - New York or Baltimore?

Got me. I read the "How to Track your MINI" sticky, but I never got a vehicle inquiry report. I'll call my MA when I get the time and see what he can tell me.

Look at the order sheet from your dealer, the one your MA gave or sent you with your order production number. It should have a Port Loc with a letter designation for the delivery port.

They were very nice...and knew about all the BMWs I've bought.
Belated birthday wishes, happy 50th!

It doesn't, unfortunately. He told me my production number over the phone.

Cool, mine's going to NYC (then up to a Boston-area dealer).

You're either New York or Baltimore, ask your MA for sure, but it won't change the ship choices they are still the same if we make the first two leaving. Question is how many MINIs heading this way from the previous week or weeks are still waiting to load.

Just called.. I am on the way to the port!! I wonder when WW's website will show the information? Gosh.. hope we don't all get left behind like some others have! I was reading week 29's thread - and some of them *just* got on a ship after sitting for almost 2 weeks!! When I called and spoke to a rep, they said it was very likely I may actually get loaded today... but I need to call again later, as sometimes they give totally a different status.

Neither ship is in port yet they are at other ports or in transit to Southampton. Western Highways arrives 08/08 and leaves the same day, Independence II leaves Bremerhaven 08/07 and loads and leaves Southampton 08/09.

I just got a completion date of 8/8! does that mean it won't be loaded on the Independence II? How long does it take from completion to loading? Do you think I'll make the Fidelio?

maybe I'll name the car Leonore

woohoo, no - I will doubt you will make the Independence because it leaves the 8th but there is a very good chance you'll make the Fidelio - if it is going to the port you need. You need to know what port you'll be at, as there may even be a different ship.

AWWWWW my beautiful baby MINI was born today!!! He has dark silver skin and black hair just like his mother. I cant believe baby Luigi has already been born and one day in advance too. I am a very proud father. So now i just have to wait to get onto a carrier which will hopefully be the Independance II. Maybee if I am lucky I will get him here by the end of Aug. I doubt it will happen but who knows. Congrats to the other new MINI owners and good luck to the rest of you who are still waiting the birth of your MINI's
