Well- it looks like it has departed from Halifax, and is still scheduled to be in NY on 7/11, at least from the W&W website:

The wait is getting more difficult!

Yay! My car has been listed as "DISCHARGED" from the ELEKTRA at 0800 this morning. Anyone know how long it should take to get through the Distribution Center?

Same here... Me'lo was discharged at same time... I would assume about a week (I do not believe the NJ VDC is operational on the weekends)

Bump, anyone's car updated to VDC? I forgot how long the car could sit in NJ before being loaded into a carrier.

It's supposed to dock in Brunswick tomorrow. I am 90 min from there, but I'm doing PDC on Aug 7th. It gets so close to me, and then gets further away!

Just heard from my MA- the car is waiting for me at the Dealer! I am (of course) going to pick it up first thing in the morning. Am I the first one on the ELEKTRA to get my MINI?

I posted this over on the Week 26 thread... so we now have Me'lo

Well Ellen and I met Me'lo today... he be very Yelo and Ellen has been smitten. All is good so here are a few pics of Me'lo

First me and then Ellen

The front with the JCW grille but not with stripes yet (doing ourselves with a local company...sorta custom and that is next week) and NO front plate bracket

Chromeline and Colorline interior with a few other goodies

Me'lo was in the company for about 20 other MINIs that had arrived in last two days... all pre sold of course

Wow, congrats! My MA was out today, I hope to hear tomorrow that the car has made its way to Rhode Island.

My MA told me previously that the titles usually come in a day after the cars, does this sound right? I'm also dissapointed to hear they want me to stop in twice, once to pay and sign things, then the next day to collect the registered car. Not ideal when it's a hour+ drive each way.

Thank goodness that Maryland is set up to let you take the car the same day! I just got mine today and brought it right home. Everyone who has seen my new Clubman is totally thrilled- at least one neighbor now wants to take a look at them herself!

Here are a couple of pictures:

Now I get the fun of driving it!!!

Congrats Melo and rmadams!

Looks like my clubby was in good company on the Elektra! Unfortunately, she's still on a train heading west right now...

Enjoy and happy motoring!

P.S. Hey Melo, did ya notice the Chili JCW beside Me'lo?

Not sure why that would be making into a two day process... I bet it is more allowing funds to be confirmed (check clears electronically etc) than title. But regardless being a bit of a PIA you are almost there
