We ordered the same day you did Stevendo. We too were told 1st half of Sept, so maybe they will travel across the pond together? Its a very long wait for an impatient person driving a 1999 Astro van (yes, I know its very ugly and utilitarian, but I have 3 sons all over 6ft, only thing we all fit in at the time) but I'm trying to keep busy by perusing all the threads here and learning everything I can. Good luck to you and your new MINI and negotiating with your 13yo!

I was waiting to order an '08 or '09 Cooper (50th anniversary car) to replace my '03 Cooper when my daughter wrecked her other car (make irrelevant) and it was totalled (everyone was fine...the car just wasn't worth the repairs according to the insurance company). This was not a good thing to have happen and I was giving her the "dad" lucture when it dawned on me how this would all have to play out. She now happily drives my '03 Cooper and I bumped my whole thing up and got an '07 Cooper which I have been absolutely thrilled with. I hope your wait is as nice and long as you need it to be and isn't truncated as mine was. These are really great cars!!!

it seems MINI's is all about the waiting game. Welcome to the club and welcome to the wait! Hard part - I keep playing with my configuration each and every day, at least once a day I build a Clubman and see what is missing.
