I finally placed my order on Saturday to get my Mini. I test drove first so that my wife could get a feel for the ride and to convince her that it isn't too small inside. I actually gave her a chance at the wheel (very hard to give up control) and she started feeling better about the car. She said "You aren't going to let me drive this at all, are you?" I told her she can drive it at least twice a year so that her key fob can charge, no guarantees on more than that. Stephanie at Baron Mini was great to work with and now I have replaced my normal surly attitude with excitement. I was actually nice to a customer this morning. Weird.

That's funny. I offered to let my wife drive the automatic Clubman we drove, but she declined. I had to stifle a laugh. Of course, all bets are off if/when we get one home.
