Just bought my first Mini!! I got a used red 2005 MC with 36k on it, so I can keep my truck in the garage. Now I am saving big $$$ on gas. I can't believe how much fun it is to drive. I can only imagine how great the S must be which will probably be my next car in a few years. Please tell me, Is it worth getting an after market intake to try to get a few more mpg?

 

Well, let me be the first to welcome you to MINI-dom and to NAM. I know just how you feel having bought myself an '03 MC back in November. And guess what, the feeling doesn't wear off ... especially if you spend time hanging around here a lot. As for your question about an intake, I'll have to leave it to someone else to answer that. I wish they were, but mechanical questions are not my thing.
