Grinning from ear to ear!!

Hey guys...

Just wanted to say a big hello to everyone!! And a big THANK YOU for all the great info!

Am super psyc'd as my new mini is on her way and should be ready for delivery in about a week!!!!

Here are the details...
Nightfire Red with Black Roof
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
Automatic Transmission
Dynamic Stability Control
Fog Lights
Multifunction Steering Wheel
Bluetooth & USB / Ipod Adapter
Chrome Line Interior & Exterior
Anthracite Headliner
Piano Black
Leatherette Seats

Planning to have an areo kit spoiler & window tinting added aftermarket as well as some stripes when I decide which ones I want.

Am still debating the clear bra... don't care for the line across the bonnet and am worried about paint fade. Anyone have info about that? Searched but didn't spot any info on differences in paint fading on covered vs. non-covered paint. Would appreciate hearing your thoughts.

Any plans for a cruise in Minnesota coming up? Can't wait to get together with other MINIacs!!!

Sounds like a nice MINI !

Don't be worried about any paint fade from the clearbra, as long as you use a reputable film. It allows 99.99 percent of the UV rays through, so it's going to fade at the same rate as your paint... which is next to none as long as you take care of it with polish/wax.

The line across the bonnet ? A lot less noticeable than stone chips.

Awesome! Please post pics when you get it! I'm curious if they'll throw in the adaptor cable that I think is needed for the ipod, since we bought from the same dealer. We're also debating the clear bra - I think they quoted us $429, so we'll probably end up buying it.

Thanks guys!!

I actually will be using the USB as I have an Archos rather than an ipod. Perfer not to limited by apple.

Leaning toward the clear bra... but am thinking of having the whole bonnet done. $428 sounds pretty decent thats about what my dealer quoted too.
