spacers or no spacers?

I'm not a new mini owner (the new arrival will be #3) but it will be the first mini I have put JCW 18" wheels on. Does anyone know...spacers or no spacers? If so, what size? Can't seem to get a straight answer...even from the dealership. Please help!!

What do you mean 'straight' answer? It seems to me that it's a personal opinion whether you want spacers or not...unless you're worried about brake clearance and think you NEED spacers?

I admit I am terribly uneducated in the spacer arena. Yes, first off do I NEED them?
