Newbie here, awaiting 1st MCS

Hi all! Newbie here, anxiously awaiting my 1st MINI. Thanks to all for the incredibly informative postings! Knowledge gleaned from here kept me from getting confused when I first checked my car's status and saw different options tied to my production number. Just today the status moved to Scheduled for Production, and my car has a VIN, so I'm really getting excited now.
I've ordered my MCS in BRG, w/ Black top and mirrors. No stripes. The interior will be in the Tuscan beige leather, with chrome lines and English oak. I ordered the Premium, Cold Weather, and Convenience packages, and added Sirius (can't live without Satellite radio in the Richmond, VA market because our local radio options are pretty bad), all weather tires, and DSC. Right now a name escapes me - I've never had a car with enough personality to name it before.
I used to drive a '94 BMW 325IS, but have been driving an Accord EX w/V6 and 6 speed for the past few years, so I'm looking forward to having a responsive car again. The MINI seems even more fun that my 325 was. I can't wait!!!

Waiting is pain, no doubt. And I know what you mean about soaking up knowledge in order to be "ready to roll!" I'm also hoping for a 1st week in May arrival date. Perhaps our two cars will be cruising over on the same ship! BRG is an awesome color. I live almost a mile off of the paved state-maintained road, so I'm hoping I can keep my new baby clean enough! But, I know from previous BMW ownership that the brake dust can get the rims filthy in a heartbeat, anyway, and I gather it's similar in the MINI.
