You shouldn'd have a problem because according to the WW website the Fedora left Halifax on Wednesday heading for NY! Mine is also on the Fedora, but I have to wait for the Brunswick dropoff as I will be taking delivery in West Palm. Does anyone know if there is a VDC in GA?

First post here. Just confirmed today that my Clubman is on the "Western Highway". Due in on 5/29. We shall see. It seems it sat at the port for over a week.
Hoping for a mid-June delivery!

Mine was finished on the 9th as well, but I don't remember how long it was on the dock. I think it was only there a few days, but I can't remember when the Seirra Nevada set sail. MA says that the MINI should be on a truck headed for Texas on Tuesday! Delivery should be Friday or Saturday!

 

I was discharged from the Fedora at 2:12 pm today. Shouldn't be too long before it arrives in Buffalo. Holiday weekend might slow it up a bit though.

 

Today is the beginning of the end! Now that most of our cars have been unloaded at NYC....its only a matter of days.....DAYS!!!....before we finally get to meet our MINIs . I feel like its Christmas in May .

 

Shinerfrog, I'm on the Western Highway too. My MINI sat at the dock for well over a week as well. I've been tracking the ship, but the K-line is notorious for being lax about reporting it's position, so the last report was 5/22/08.

Since you're in Texas, I bet we'll get our MINIs about the same day!

 

Is anyone waiting for the Fedora to hit GA? I understand it should hit there the 28th is this still correct?

 

Yes its still due on the 28th. My car is on the Fedora as well. It has been on schedule so far!!!

 

We should, I am in the Metroplex too, just south of Ft Worth. Funny, I did not think I would be that interested in when it (still un-named) comes in, but I found myself constantly looking at my production status. Now on a 'stealth' boat in the Atlantic.
Now waiting the last two weeks.

well the sierra nevada highway docked thursday night last week and they must not have done **** the entire weekend because i called and it doesnt look like itll be here till early next week or the end of this week at the earliest. some bmw buyers on the same ship already have their bmws at the dealers and my mini is stuck at the vdc :'(

 

Ok, so the Fedora should be in GA today as I understand. Does anyone know how long it takes to get to the dealers?

 

I just talked to my dealer and Suki is in! Looks like this weekend I'll be picking her up. Hopefully I can make it through the next few days without driving myself crazy.

 

Shinerfrog, which dealership did you go with? Who's your MA? I'm with Moritz in Arlington, have a great MA, and I'm being told approx. June 15 or so. I ordered 4/19. Pure torture!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I am also going through Moritz. Neil is my MA. He has been easy to work with. He has told me all along sometime in the 2nd half of June. When I saw my actual production date, I was hoping for something sooner. Oh well. Hopefully we will see that the ship has docked tomorrow in Charleston.

Update: Went to Westchester MINI to pick up Suki on Saturday. Everything went very smooth and it was all very easy. Then I began my 2 1/2 hour drive home on my first manual car . I only stalled it two times and I got my first two waves passing by Morristown on the drive home. I also got to test out the fog lights as a torrential downpour happened while driving as well. No pictures as of this moment (big let down, I know) but will come asap as I need to take lots of pictures for my photography class .

 

MA just called said my (yet to be named) Clubman will be arriving today and should be ready Thursday afternoon.
After reading about some MPG stories on other posts, I can't wait to park the Avalanche!
