Howdy folks... joined NAM in an effort to really figure out if i'm gonna stick to buying a Mini .... I've got a *** 4dr auto....boring as a day's long... working on trying to give myself a graduation gift that'll be fun & exciting!! I've had my share of Euro's (85 GTI, 90 Carrera-Cabriolet, 2001 VW Jetta) and some Japs (92 Mazda 323, 85 Accord-SEI, Corolla 96) plus a long list of Company vehicles that were all US... Haven't made my mind up... but this community has offered a TON of insight... so right now i'm leaning towards the MINI....

Working on trading in my Civic for a 2007 used Mini.... in about 3weeks going over to Puerto Rico from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to see what kind of deal I can get... I've already contacted a few dealers & sellers... As far as what I want in it... i'm going for the the best deal I can get... Being that i'll be making peanuts as a resident... i'll need a veh that's paid off & some dough to pay my childsupport.... The first time around i'll go for VALUE... when i'm done w/residency i'll SPLURGE!!!!!

 

I'm sure gas is expense in Santo Domingo, DR. With the MINI you get good gas mileage and it a blast to drive.

I've had my share of rides WRx 2002, Porsche 911, VW but the mini is just an addiction, u can't go wrong. MOTOR ON!!!!

 

I've been checking out KBB's & Clasificados along w/contacts @ auctions in the states... i've contacted a few folks in PR that will take trade of my '98 Cvici... i'll be arriving via "yola" to the waters of Mayaguez w/my civic in tow in a few weeks & will head to a few dealers that have Minis and check in w/whomever has answered my emails....
